Clearing and settlement

A Trading Participant needs to verify that it has clearing and settlement arrangements in place for the relevant markets. A Trading Participant can either be a direct member of the respective CSD or arrange for indirect settlement capabilities via one of the clearing members of the respective CSD. This is called agency settlement.
